Questions?

Those will always be honored and encouraged in this space.

Here are some of the ones most frequently asked.

+ Can I work with you if my child is currently being treated by an occupational therapist (OT)?

Yes! The mission of Lettuce Talk OT is to support special needs families holistically through education and coaching. What sets me apart as I serve in this capacity is the ability to look at you/your child's journey as a whole vs only considering their goals/needs through the lens of an OT. I can collaborate with all providers in order to address "OT in Real Life".

+ We've been on this journey for a while now. Are services only for newly diagnosed families?

Fortunately, there are ALWAYS new programs, resources and events that become available to help families on this journey. I love working with both new and seasoned families, and my mission is to help as many families as I can.

+ I have questions that fall into more than one service. Do I have to choose one, or is there an option to cover several topics?

Whether you have a single question or several, we can put together a package that leaves you feeling empowered and confident. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about the support you need.

+ Do you receive compensation from the recommendations that you provide through Amazon?

Yes, as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

+ Do you accept insurance?

At this time, I do not accept private insurance. I do accept Step Up for Students (Formerly The Gardiner Scholarship) and Self-pay.

+ Are all service one-time sessions, or do you offer multiple sessions/packages for ongoing support?

Sessions can be a single meeting with as-needed follow up, or can also be offered as a multi-session/ongoing package. At our consultation, we can best determine what will meet your needs and goals.

+ Do you offer virtual OT or other therapy services?

All services provided are in person. Families have the option for virtual sessions for follow ups, training and IEPs.

Let’s Meet.

Our first call is on me. No strings attached. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss your child’s needs and goals, get answers to any questions you have about working together, and decide if working together is the best fit for your child’s needs.

Choose Your Goals.

After our get-to-know-you call, I'll share my recommendations on the best support options for your child’s needs (even if that doesn’t include working together). I’ll outline the different options that I can offer, and share what you can expect that support to look like for your goals.

Schedule Your Session.

Once you’re ready to book your service, you’ll receive a link with a short intake questionnaire, along with your contract and invoice, and a link to schedule your session. If I need any additional paperwork or information based on your service (reports, etc), I’ll include additional instructions on how to prepare for our meeting.
